Additionally, it describes the principles and practices of China’s international development cooperation, rooted in traditional values and development experience. The chapter also explains China’s commitment to development cooperation and the launch of its international development initiatives and platforms, stressing the need for synergy between development studies and country and area studies to address global challenges and the development needs of partner countries.
