1 Introduction

Foreign language teaching research faces many challenges, such as high requirements, low efficiency, and lack of unified standards, which affect teachers' research enthusiasm. This article explores the challenges of transforming teaching research into academic papers, compares the differences between the research process and paper presentation, summarizes the principles of transformation, and uses case studies to demonstrate how to apply these principles and promote effective output of academic papers.

Characteristics of Teaching Research

Teaching research is the research conducted by teachers to solve practical teaching problems, which can be carried out by individuals or teams, using methods such as action research, dialectical research, and lesson study. Teaching research has multidirectionality, repetitiveness, and uncertainty. Multidirectionality is reflected in the process of teaching research, which requires solving multiple problems simultaneously, and the same research has multiple interpretation possibilities from different perspectives. Repetitiveness refers to the non-linear nature of the teaching and research process, which requires multiple attempts and adjustments. Uncertainty means that there is no clear and predictable answer for research promotion, and researchers need to adjust and optimize the route in continuous selection. Teaching research is a complex system that involves multiple teaching environment elements. Teachers need to reflect back and forth between teaching actions and actual effects, identify problems, and optimize teaching plans.

3 Characteristics of Academic Papers

Academic papers are carriers of knowledge sharing, which should follow academic norms and be easy to understand. Its characteristics include unidirectionality, linearity, and clarity. Unidirectional refers to a paper that revolves around a research question and forms a clear logical line. Linearity is reflected in the coherence of the paper structure, where there is a logical progression between each part from problem formulation to conclusion revelation. Clarity requires the content of the paper to be clear, avoiding unnecessary complexity and ensuring that readers can easily grasp the main idea of the paper.

4. Conversion from Teaching Research to Academic Papers

Explored the process and strategies of transforming research on foreign language classroom teaching into academic papers. There are significant differences in the nature between teaching research and academic papers. The former has multidirectionality, repetitiveness, and uncertainty, while the latter exhibits unidirectionality, linearity, and clarity. In order to achieve the transformation from teaching research to academic papers, the author proposes four principles: building a main line, distinguishing priorities in layout, addressing data correlation issues, and writing from top to bottom. Through a case study, it demonstrates how to apply these principles to transform complex teaching and research content into academic papers.

5 Conclusion

Thesis writing is an extension of teaching research, and its core lies in the sorting and reconstruction of research facts. Research facts are the foundation of paper writing, and papers lacking factual basis will lose objectivity and scientificity. Writing a thesis is not only an in-depth exploration of research questions, but also a part of the research process, especially in qualitative research. During the writing process, organizing the research content helps to develop research conclusions and generate research significance, thereby endowing the research with logic and depth.
