This article introduces the academic mission of the journal International Sinology, its sensitivity to dialogue with the times, its vitality in interacting with readers, and its courage for continuous innovation. Since its establishment in 1995, the publication has been committed to promoting academic interaction between China and foreign countries and enhancing the level of international Sinology research. To commemorate its 30th anniversary, the publication has planned a series of special articles to review its birth and development, sort out the influence of the academic community at home and abroad, and enhance its leading role in overseas Sinology research. The article explores the dissemination and influence of International Sinology in Europe and America, the academic historical significance of German Sinology research, and the promotion and facilitating role of the publication in the study of the history of Chinese language education worldwide through literature review and data analysis. Special attention was paid to the dissemination and acceptance of the Tao Te Ching overseas, and the "General Catalogue of Translations of Laozi" compiled by American sinologist Tai Mixia was published, involving 73 languages and 1576 translations. Organized three papers on the translation, interpretation, and dissemination of the Tao Te Ching in three different language and cultural backgrounds: the Spanish speaking world, Hungary, and the United States. In addition, attention was paid to the dissemination and significance of Confucianism overseas, and the dissemination and acceptance of Confucianism in Russia and the Joseon Dynasty were explored. The publication inherits its consistent editorial purpose and academic pursuit, focusing on macro disciplinary development and academic directions, as well as micro historical details and typical cases. The authors include academic veterans and young talents who have just started their careers. The research objects include historical research and in-depth exploration of contemporary issues.
