Reviewed the development history of International Sinology magazine from 1995 to 2025. Under the guidance of Mr. Ren, the author began to study the history of cultural exchange between China and the West, and participated in the founding of "International Sinology". This magazine is the first academic journal in China dedicated to studying overseas Sinology, edited by Mr. Ren, emphasizing the influence of Chinese culture on the world. Mr. Ren's academic perspective was influenced by his education at Southwest Associated University and his mentor Tang Yongtong, and he is dedicated to the study of the history of Chinese Buddhism and philosophical thought. In 1996, "International Sinology" was transferred to Beijing Foreign Studies University with the author and received support from the university. It cooperated with Elephant Publishing House and developed rapidly. It was officially published in 2014 and has since published 71 issues, embodying the hard work of numerous editors and academic friends. The author, through editing work, realized the true meaning of academia, grew from ignorance and arrogance, and established the ideal of pursuing academic pursuits. International Sinology has become an international academic platform, promoting the globalization of Chinese academia, and is the common ideal of the author and editorial colleagues. On the occasion of commemorating its 30th anniversary, we look forward to International Sinology providing wisdom to the world, exchanging ideas with scholars at home and abroad, and constantly updating and developing.
