In language teaching, micro-courses, as an application of micro-level research, reduce learning load through modular design, meet modern learning needs, and enhance learners' sense of engagement and autonomy. The support of intelligent technology enables micro-courses to adapt to personalized learning paths and promotes the refinement of teaching content. The four papers in this themed forum explore the application and innovation of micro-courses in international Chinese education from different perspectives, showcasing their multiple values in educational innovation and providing innovative pathways for international Chinese education.
