Emphasis was placed on the importance of academic journals for the development of disciplines, academic exchanges, and the growth of scholars, especially the contribution of "German Humanities Research" to the discipline of German language and literature. The author recalls their honor as the first author of the first issue of the magazine and describes the three-dimensional engineering behind the magazine, including teaching, conferences, and publishing. The article mentions the long-term hard work of editor Wang Bingjun and his team, as well as the magazine's role in promoting the growth of young and middle-aged researchers. German Humanities Research has become a magazine with pursuit, broad mindedness, and warmth due to its focus on cutting-edge topics, openness and inclusiveness, and emphasis on the quality of papers rather than author qualifications. The author expressed celebration of the magazine's tenth anniversary and good wishes for the future.
