An in-depth analysis was conducted on the position and role of the teaching content of "exercising rights in accordance with the law" in the core competencies of the discipline. It points out that the teaching content aims to cultivate students' "rule of law concept", that is, to enable students to understand that every citizen enjoys the rights granted by the Constitution and laws, and to initially possess the ability to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests and participate in social life in accordance with the law. This core competency is of great significance for students to form a correct concept of rights and enhance their awareness of the rule of law.

2、 Analysis of textbook content

Analyzed the teaching content on civil rights in the second volume of the eighth grade textbook "Morality and Rule of Law" published by the People's Education Press, including two parts: "There are limits to exercising rights" and "Maintaining rights and following procedures". It emphasizes that citizens' rights are protected and constrained by law, and points out that the exercise of freedom and rights must not harm the legitimate rights of the state, society, collective interests, and other citizens. At the same time, it emphasized that the exercise and maintenance of rights should follow legal procedures, use legal thinking and methods to resolve conflicts and disputes, and introduced specific paths and methods for safeguarding rights.

By setting main and sub topics, combining the movie "Hot and Hot" with real cases, creating situational characters, and promoting the improvement of students' core literacy. Teachers cultivate critical thinking and awareness of the rule of law through pre-set questions and questioning, communicating and discussing with students. At the same time, utilizing digital technology platforms and smart pen and paper, precise teaching can be achieved, improving classroom interaction and learning situation analysis.
