AI 摘要

1 Introduction

Since the promulgation of the "Hanyu Pinyin Scheme" in 1958, Hanyu Pinyin has played an important role in education, Chinese internationalization, and the digitization of Chinese characters. This study constructed a 12.6 billion word corpus and trained 7159832 non repetitive word lists using Hanlp segmentation and Word2vec models. By using Gensim to calculate word vector similarity, 826 words related to Chinese Pinyin were selected, and their clustering maps were further analyzed to explore the current application status and future development direction of Chinese Pinyin in contemporary Chinese literature.

Overview of the usage of Chinese Pinyin

By calculating the similarity of word vectors through cosine values, it was found that the word with the highest similarity to Chinese Pinyin is Pinyin itself, with a similarity of 0.664789. Among the 2000 words, the similarity range is between 0.226362 and 0.664789, with the majority concentrated between 0.237 and 0.277. Among them, 965 items are in Latin alphabet form, and some Chinese character form words have no direct relationship with Chinese Pinyin, but their similarity is high due to their appearance in contexts such as "XXX's Pinyin is...". These words mostly come from entries such as Baidu Baike, accounting for nearly 60% of the total, reflecting the function of Chinese Pinyin in annotating the pronunciation of Chinese characters. After removing phonetic words, there are still 826 Chinese character form words directly related to the connotation of Chinese Pinyin. The similarity of the first 10 words is above 0.4, including pinyin, Chinese characters, phonetic symbols, etc., reflecting the Latinization scheme of Chinese pinyin as a phonetic annotation for Chinese characters, and serving as a tool to assist in the pronunciation of Chinese characters. Chinese Pinyin is mostly used to annotate the names of people, places, things, and medicines, such as Jiuwei Qianghuo Pills, Ningshuolu Syrup, Compound Aminophenol and Amantadine Capsules, etc. In the Latin alphabet form, there are English words such as plosive, as well as Chinese pinyin related words such as bpmf and juquxu. In the 2000 words, words such as buzheteng and tiankeng also appear, reflecting the bridging role of Chinese Pinyin in international communication.

Clustering of 3 Chinese Pinyin related words

By calculating the similarity between 826 Chinese character terms and normalizing them, a distance matrix between words was constructed. Using the adjacency tree method in the molecular evolutionary genetic analysis software MEGA for clustering analysis, the terms are automatically divided into five main branches, representing different aspects of the development of Chinese Pinyin: the development process of Chinese Pinyin, Chinese Pinyin and phonology, Chinese Pinyin and other Pinyin characters, teaching and application of Chinese Pinyin, and Chinese Pinyin and Chinese characters.

Analysis and Future Prospects of the Current Use of Chinese Pinyin

The current status of the use of Chinese Pinyin in contemporary Chinese literature shows that there are abundant examples of Pinyin but relatively little content related to its connotation, more historical introductions than practical applications, more national promotion standards but less innovative achievements, and insufficient informationization in primary education. Among the top 2000 words with the highest similarity, most of them have low similarity to Chinese Pinyin and mostly involve dialects, ethnic languages, and other national languages and scripts. The historical evolution and national standards of Chinese Pinyin are the main topics in literature, while teaching, dictionary lookup, and input method creation are its main application areas. The application of Chinese Pinyin in the information age has not been fully developed, and although there are many academic literature, they mainly focus on teaching and theoretical exploration, with relatively few achievements in information technology application and innovative practice. The latest research results demonstrate the creative application of Chinese Pinyin in the information age, but such research is scarce, and the future digital application prospects of Chinese Pinyin are the development direction.

5 Conclusion

By analyzing the similarity of word vectors, the usage and cognition of Chinese Pinyin in contemporary Chinese literature were revealed, presenting a knowledge graph of Chinese Pinyin. Research shows that Chinese Pinyin has a wide range of applications and rich achievements in education, language standardization, theoretical research, and foreign language teaching. However, the innovative application of Chinese Pinyin in the information age is still insufficient, and further exploration is needed to explore its new role and value in the digital age.
