The Patriotic Education Law of the People's Republic of China was passed on October 24, 2023 and will come into effect on January 1, 2024. The law emphasizes the importance of patriotism and clarifies the content of education, including core socialist values, the history of the CPC, the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, excellent traditional Chinese culture, national symbols and symbols, the Constitution and laws, and the deeds of heroes and martyrs.
