（1） Textbooks and Learning Situation

An in-depth analysis was conducted on the status and content of "the unity of the Party's propositions and the will of the people" in the People's Education Press junior high school textbook "Morality and Rule of Law", emphasizing its importance in politics, rule of law, and theory. The textbook covers three aspects: the leadership of the Party, the attribution of state power, and the protection of human rights. In view of the eighth grade students' cognitive level and legal awareness, the study objectives are proposed to deepen the students' understanding of the leadership of the CPC and human rights protection.

（2） Teaching route

A teaching route of "the unity of the Party's propositions and the will of the people" was designed through four dimensions: topic line, knowledge line, situational line, and activity line. The topic line guides students to understand the relationship between the Constitution, the Party's propositions, and the will of the people through a series of questions; The knowledge line combed the relationship between the status, nature and purpose of the Party and the constitutional guarantee that state power belongs to the people, as well as the subject, content and practice of human rights in China; The situational line provides students with a rich learning environment through materials such as the preamble of the Constitution, Party history, stories of herdsmen, constitutional catalog, and human rights white paper; The activity line aims to deepen students' understanding through activities such as studying party history, life theater, constitutional amendments, current affairs broadcasts, and watching "One Leaf Red Boat" in practice.

（3） Process and Intent

By introducing current political news, we aim to stimulate students' attention to the Constitution and enhance their awareness of it. By studying the history of the Party, we can understand that the leadership position of the Party is a choice of history and the people. Guide students to understand the nature and purpose of the Party, as well as the relationship between the Party and the Constitution and laws, through the video "Herdsmen with Party Emblems". By discussing the suggestions of the Central Committee of the CPC on amending part of the Constitution, we will explore the status of the Party and the relationship between the Party and the Constitution and laws. Understanding the characteristics of human rights in China and how the country respects and protects human rights through interpreting the white paper "Seeking Happiness for the People: 70 Years of Development of Human Rights in New China". By watching 'One Red Boat', students can elevate their emotional understanding of the Party to a rational understanding, identify with the Party, and follow the Party.

（4） Expansion and Enhancement

Three books, On the History of the CPC, A Brief History of the CPC and Ninety Years of the CPC, are recommended as expanded reading materials. At the same time, by analyzing the implementation opinions on the effective connection between poverty alleviation and rural revitalization issued by Hunan Province in 2021, students are guided to understand the basic principles of respecting and safeguarding human rights in the Constitution, and are required to give examples of how the country respects and safeguards human rights, such as improving the medical system and raising the minimum wage standard.
