The 8th National Student "Study Constitution and Speak Constitution" National Finals were successfully held at Beijing Foreign Studies University, aiming to deepen constitutional education for young people. The event is hosted by the Ministry of Education and organized by the National Youth Legal Education Center of Beijing Foreign Studies University and the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press. Leaders from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Justice, and other departments attended and presented awards. The competition includes speech and literacy competitions, covering 31 provinces, municipalities, and special administrative regions across the country. 159 speech contestants and 128 literacy competition contestants participated. The speech competition is divided into primary school, junior high school, high school, and university groups, with Zhao Yichen, Zeng Zhizhong, Guo Shitong, and He Ruitong winning the championship respectively. In the literacy competition, the Hebei provincial team won the championship, while the Jiangsu and Yunnan provincial teams won the runner up and third place respectively. Since 2016, this activity has become an important platform for legal education in the education system, with 147 million participants in the "Constitutional Defender" online learning in 2023.
