Introduced various legal practice activities in high school to enhance students' awareness of the rule of law, such as legal lectures, constitutional morning reading, etc. At the same time, it points out that in the process of cultivating legal awareness, how to effectively evaluate and grasp students' level of legal awareness, and how to provide targeted education based on students' actual situation, are challenges faced by educators.

1、 Analysis of the Needs and Current Situation of High School Students' Legal Awareness Assessment

The assessment of high school students' legal awareness is crucial for evaluating the effectiveness of training, planning the content and methods of training. Currently, although schools have invested in ideological and moral education, they lack systematic and scientific evaluation methods. The cultivation of legal awareness requires selecting appropriate content and activity methods based on national requirements and students' actual situations. The existing assessment methods, such as exams, questionnaires, interviews, etc., are difficult to comprehensively, accurately, and quantitatively evaluate students' legal awareness.

2、 Analysis of the Content of High School Students' Legal Awareness Assessment

The core objective of the assessment of high school students' legal awareness was analyzed in depth, which is to evaluate their ability to respect, learn, abide by, and apply the rule of law. In order to comprehensively quantify the evaluation, the awareness of the rule of law is refined into two dimensions: legal knowledge and legal behavior. Rule of law knowledge involves mastering legal content such as the Constitution and Criminal Law, while rule of law behavior focuses on whether students can abide by the law and participate in the construction of a rule of law country. Due to the low number of incidents involving high school students in the legal system, it is not practical to use statistical analysis methods. It is recommended to indirectly evaluate legal behavior by observing daily behavioral norms and participation in activities. At the same time, it emphasizes the mutually reinforcing relationship between legal knowledge and behavior, and points out that teachers should avoid equating knowledge mastery with behavioral performance, and should identify different types of students and cultivate legal awareness in a targeted manner.

3、 Assessment Method for High School Students' Legal Awareness

Explored the evaluation methods of high school students' legal awareness, which are divided into two parts: legal knowledge evaluation and legal behavior evaluation. The assessment of legal knowledge involves students' grasp of the concept, connotation, and system of socialist rule of law, as well as their ability to solve problems, find laws when encountering problems, and resolve conflicts. The evaluation methods include proposition exams, legal debate competitions, mock courts, etc., aimed at assessing students' understanding and application of legal concepts and principles. The assessment of rule of law behavior focuses on students' behavior of respecting the law and believing in the rule of law. By examining the frequency and types of students' disciplinary violations, as well as their participation in rule of law practice activities, the level of their rule of law behavior can be inferred. The concept of "rule of law behavior parameters" was proposed to quantitatively evaluate students' rule of law behavior status by calculating disciplinary violations through weighted averaging. In addition, it also discussed how to evaluate students' willingness and effectiveness in participating in the construction of a rule of law country by observing their participation in activities related to the rule of law.

4、 Assessment System for High School Students' Legal Awareness

Explored the systematic evaluation method of high school students' legal awareness, emphasized the complexity of legal awareness evaluation, and proposed an evaluation system that includes two dimensions: legal knowledge and legal behavior. Although legal knowledge and legal behavior are independent of each other, there is an interactive relationship. Learning legal knowledge can enhance individuals' legal awareness, while behavioral warnings and intervention measures can help improve bad behavior. The ultimate goal is to promote students' formation of good legal behavior habits and cultivate talents with high legal literacy.
