Explored the diversity and individualization of topic based teaching design in ideological and political courses. Teachers design different teaching strategies for the same topic based on personal experience, understanding of curriculum standards, and student situations. Excellent topic based teaching design exhibits some common characteristics.

1、 Determination of the agenda

In the design of topic based teaching, the determination of topics is the core process, which can be divided into two methods: "determining topics based on criteria" and "determining topics independently". The setting of the overall topic and sub topics should revolve around curriculum standards and teaching prompts, such as the topic of "unity of rights and obligations", and teaching should be carried out through sub topics such as "boundaries of rights" and "procedures for safeguarding rights". Teaching design should be clear and organized, avoiding confusion between topics, themes, and questions.

2、 The choice of context

Situational materials play an important role in ideological and political education teaching, including current news, cases, stories, etc. Teachers should choose authentic and positive situations to avoid excessive processing that leads to a sense of unreality. Situational materials should serve students' learning, rather than reversing priorities.

3、 Task driven

The importance of situational tasks in topic based teaching design was emphasized, and it was pointed out that task design should consider students' actual situations, be closely related to life, stimulate deep thinking, and enhance key abilities and good character. Through specific teaching design cases, it demonstrates how to guide students' thinking and discussion through argumentative tasks, such as discussing the boundaries of rights and ways to protect their rights. At the same time, it is emphasized that problem-based teaching should be student-centered, design challenging tasks, and cultivate subject literacy. Teachers need to pay attention to three key factors: topics, situations, and tasks, and flexibly design teaching based on students' characteristics.
