The National Language Commission has revised and issued the "Standard Mandarin Proficiency Test Regulations" in accordance with the "Standard Mandarin Proficiency Test Management Regulations", aiming to promote the use of the national common language and script. The Regulations consist of 12 chapters and 43 articles, which clarify the requirements for testing organization and implementation, testing site establishment, examination room setting, etc., optimize testing process management, and strengthen management supervision. The Regulations will come into effect on April 1, 2023. The National Language Commission will guide the improvement of the testing information management system, revise the testing implementation outline, and strengthen the training of testers.
