In order to implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, ensure the stability of the education system and the health and safety of teachers and students, the Ministry of Education has conducted a special survey on the spring school opening work. The research was led by Huai Jinpeng, Secretary of the Party Group and Minister of the Ministry, covering multiple provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, with a focus on ensuring the conditions for the start of the school year, arranging teaching work, campus safety, food safety, epidemic prevention and control, and other aspects. The research team conducted field research on more than 150 schools through various methods to ensure the implementation of the requirements for the start of the school year. The research results show that various regions attach great importance to the work of starting school, organize multiple departments to conduct comprehensive inspections, ensure policy implementation, ensure smooth return of teachers and students to school, and achieve timely, normal, and safe start of school.
