1、 Introduction

On December 21-22, 2022, the Chinese Education Heroes Association was successfully held online as an important event of the International Chinese Education Conference. This event is jointly hosted and organized by multiple institutions, attracting widespread attention. As a reviewer, the author watched the presentations of 13 out of 22 teams and communicated with the participants. Since its establishment in 2017, the Chinese Education Heroes Association has become an important event in the field of international Chinese education. The event initially focused on the personal qualities and talents of participants, but since its restart in 2021, it has placed more emphasis on showcasing professional characteristics and teaching abilities. The exhibition event in 2022 is based on the segmented exhibition in October, with 219 teams from 170 universities in six major regions across the country participating. It is divided into two parts: regional exhibition and national exhibition. Each representative team shall submit teaching design plans, teaching videos, and PPT materials, and participate in exhibition and exchange activities after preliminary selection. This article mainly focuses on the exhibition and exchange activities of national student groups.

2、 Characteristics of the 2022 National Han Education Heroes Association

The 2022 National Heroes of Chinese Education Association focuses on innovative Chinese language teaching and is divided into two major groups: teachers and students, including domestic and foreign teacher and student teams. The activity aims to enhance the international Chinese language teaching ability of young professionals through practical experience and cognitive processes. The student group showcases a variety of themes, including Chinese culture, specialized and general Chinese courses. The activity focuses on practical classroom operations and academic rigor, returning to authentic teaching. Teachers demonstrate their proficiency in Chinese language teaching, emphasize student-centered concepts, and create authentic language environments. The representative team is well prepared and will use short videos and PPTs to showcase advanced teaching methods. Graduate students and young teachers demonstrate excellent teaching potential and are expected to become new forces in Chinese education.

3、 Reflections on the Teaching Display of the Chinese Teaching Heroes Association

In depth analysis was conducted on the problems existing in the teaching display of the Hanjiao Heroes' Club, and corresponding solutions were proposed. Firstly, it is pointed out that excessive explanation by teachers limits students' interaction time. It is suggested that teachers create more opportunities for language output and enhance students' awareness of participation. Secondly, it is emphasized that teachers need to pay attention to the inconsistency between the thinking and language proficiency of adult international students, and explore in-depth issues in language that students can understand. In addition, discussions were held on how to integrate Chinese culture and national conditions into Chinese language teaching, advocating for teachers to guide students in Chinese communication activities and improve their Chinese expression abilities. At the same time, it is pointed out that teachers' attention to students' language expression errors is insufficient, and the importance of timely correction is emphasized. We also explored effective methods of incorporating game elements into adult Chinese second language teaching, as well as how to adjust teaching strategies according to students' needs. Finally, teachers are reminded to master and apply foreign language teaching theories to guide practice, while avoiding excessive reliance on technological means to ensure that the teaching content is suitable for learners of different levels. These thoughts provide valuable references for improving the quality and effectiveness of Chinese language teaching.

4、 The inspiration brought by the Heroes of Chinese Education Association to international Chinese education and graduate training

Provide suggestions for novice teachers to improve their teaching, including strengthening their knowledge of the Chinese language itself, enhancing the scientific and targeted nature of teaching, maintaining sensitivity to students' language errors, establishing correct teaching concepts, paying attention to the combination of language and cultural teaching, improving personal professional competence, and grasping the laws of Chinese language teaching. Emphasizing the standardization and acceptability of teaching language is an important indicator for evaluating a teacher's teaching ability. The Heroes of Chinese Education Association provides a professional exchange platform for graduate students and young teachers in international Chinese education. It is recommended to use it as an important mechanism for master's and doctoral training, and promote the practical training of talents in universities through "big competitions". When selecting volunteer teachers, priority should be given to students who participate in national exchanges, and activity participation can be used as an indicator to evaluate project quality. We look forward to the heroes of Chinese education constantly advancing in exploration and making greater contributions to the international Chinese education industry.
