Introduced the concept of Specialized Chinese Language (CSP), which is divided into three categories: academic, vocational, and general education, and emphasized the close connection between CSP courses and professional learning and vocational training. The CSP course aims to provide learners with the Chinese language proficiency required to enter professional fields or complete vocational training, and is a "pathway course" or "bridging course". With the development of society and technology, CSP teaching needs to constantly explore effective teaching methods and strategies, such as using online learning platforms, multimedia resources, artificial intelligence and other technological means to improve learners' participation and practical abilities. In addition, establish effective assessment tools, evaluation criteria, and learner feedback channels to ensure the effectiveness of CSP teaching. The four papers in this column respectively explore the evaluation of CSP textbooks, Chinese teaching in traditional Chinese medicine, the development of "Chinese+" teaching, and the cultivation of "Chinese+vocational" talents in Russia, providing new perspectives and ideas for the development of the CSP field.
