The article emphasizes the fundamental role of letter phoneme integration in English reading learning, as well as the differences in writing systems between Chinese and English, which may lead to special cognitive challenges for native Chinese speakers in English reading learning. In order to better understand these challenges and provide targeted learning strategies, the author conducted EEG activity, cognitive-behavioral experiments, and intervention training studies.
