The importance of interdisciplinary content teaching in English classrooms was emphasized, including the support of curriculum standards, abundant resources of non fiction English reading materials, and the necessity of enhancing students' academic literacy in reading and writing. At the same time, it points out the focus of interdisciplinary teaching at different levels: micro level subject concept learning, meso level subject concept correlation analysis, and macro level subject core research object understanding. In addition, it also discussed how to balance the relationship between content learning and language learning in a foreign language environment, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of language learning.
