The core position of vocabulary teaching in second language teaching was emphasized, and it was pointed out that vocabulary knowledge and vocabulary are the key to improving language skills and communication abilities. The paper analyzes academic journal articles from 2004 to 2016 and finds that research on Chinese vocabulary teaching is the most abundant. In response to the vocabulary learning difficulties faced by Chinese as a second language learners, four papers published in this journal explore effective teaching strategies from different perspectives: Su Xiangli proposed the concept of intensive teaching of basic vocabulary in the preparatory stage; Wang Jun and Yi Chunlei conducted thematic reconstruction of vocabulary in the "Level Standards" based on topic task driven approach; Guan Yanzeng constructs a HSK listening vocabulary teaching model based on co-occurrence network; Chen Mengling and Meng Kai proposed lexical patterns and teaching suggestions for emerging color words. These research results have practical guidance significance and help improve the effectiveness of vocabulary teaching.
