This paper introduces the research background and core content of the thematic forum on "AI-Assisted International Chinese Language Teaching Application Research," focusing on the application exploration of generative AI technologies such as ChatGPT in Chinese as a second language teaching. Three papers conduct empirical studies from three dimensions: differentiated instructional design, writing feedback assistance, and evaluation system construction, revealing the potential and limitations of AI in meeting personalized learning needs, improving feedback efficiency, and optimizing evaluation mechanisms, emphasizing the importance of "human-machine collaboration," and providing theoretical and practical references for the intelligent transformation of international Chinese language education.
