National translation practice is a translation behavior carried out by sovereign states to serve national goals and interests, and has become an important topic in the field of translation studies. This column's three papers explore the theoretical and practical paths of national translation practice from the perspectives of ethical dimensions, conceptual connotations, and practical applications. The Ethical Dimension Analysis of National Translation Practice constructs a multidimensional ethical framework, providing new ideas for understanding ethical choices in complex translation contexts. The Preliminary Exploration of 'Translating for the Country' analyzes the mechanism by which non-state actors serve national interests through translation practice. The research on the development and application of a multilingual high-end corpus of Chinese characteristic discourse explores methods to improve the quality and efficiency of translating Chinese characteristic discourse into foreign languages through the construction of a multilingual high-end corpus, providing support for the construction of national discourse power. These studies help to understand the intrinsic connection between translation and national interests, cultural dissemination, and international exchange, providing theoretical basis for the formulation and implementation of national translation strategies and assisting in the dissemination of Chinese voices.
